Movember
Where your $25 goes, and why it matters.
A men's health charity that started with moustaches
Movember began as a few friends growing moustaches for a month. It's now a global men's health movement that has funded more than AUD $1.8 billion of prevention-focused work, with communities, researchers and governments.
Every entry in this game is a donation straight to Movember, and so far the game has raised $25+. Movember Canada is a registered charity (84821 5604 RR0001), which is why your tax receipt comes from them.

Movember's ALEC guideIf someone in your life doesn't seem himself, Movember suggests four steps.
- A
Ask
Ask how he's doing, and mention anything you've noticed. People say "I'm fine" when they're not, so it's fine to ask twice.
- L
Listen
Give him your full attention. You don't need to fix anything; questions show you're listening.
- E
Encourage action
Sleep, exercise, eating well, talking to people he trusts. If he's felt low for more than two weeks, suggest he sees a doctor.
- C
Check in
Follow up soon, in person if you can. It shows you care, and you'll see how he's doing.
